Sentiment Journal is an ongoing photographic meditation on the emotional traces that shape our inner lives. Through a sequence of images organized into five chapters—Disconnection, Melancholy, Rupture, Mending, and Fortitude—the series explores states of transition, vulnerability, adaptation, and renewal.
Created over several years, the photographs function as visual fragments of memory. Water, light, atmosphere, and landscape become recurring elements through which emotional experiences are translated into image. The work inhabits the space between the visible and the felt, where external environments mirror internal states.
Rather than documenting specific events, Sentiment Journal invites contemplation. The images suggest moments of uncertainty, reflection, resilience, and transformation, allowing viewers to bring their own narratives and experiences into the work.
At its core, the series examines the human capacity to move through change while preserving a sense of wonder, revealing how moments of fragility can become sources of strength, clarity, and renewal.
