Leti Capriles is a Venezuelan artist living in Miami since 2011. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. She took courses at Parsons School of Design, at the International Center of Photography both in New York City and with photographer Art Wolfe in Oregon. She then assisted various photographers including Elizabeth Opalenik, and her work in Infrared Photography was included in one of well-known Venezuelan photographer J.J Castro’s books. She also freelanced at a Venezuelan magazine, documenting travel sites, fashion shows and social events. She has exhibited at various venues in Connecticut… The Roger Smith Gallery in New York City, The Curator’s Voice Arts Projects located in Wynwood Art District Miami, Pinta Art Fair 2019 during Art Basel Week in Miami, BADA Art Fair in Mexico City Feb.2020, The Hispafest Art Show 2021 in Miami, Just Mad Contemporary Art Fair in Madrid during Arco Week 2023, a solo exhibition at Art Media Gallery Miami in Feb.2025, Aluna Collective in Miami June 2025 and will be exhibiting at DIAF in November 2025.
